ABOUT ABOUT

As a follow up to our Collective Imagination + Radical Futures: Kansas City Organizers on Making Art & Building Power panel, Art+Feminism is hosting this introduction to Wikipedia editing for movement workers and organizers. We will learn the basics of editing, answer critical questions about notability and neutrality when writing about community organizing and movement work on Wikipedia, and practice editing using our 2024 Solidarity Task List. No Wikipedia experience is required.

If you’d like, you’re welcome to add the A+F badge to your user page, and you can view our 2024 task list.

For dashboard registration, please click here.

Throughout our 2024 campaign, we invite you to join us and other feminist editors at our virtual editing tables. Hosted monthly and on various language Wikipedias, the Art+Feminism virtual editing table is an opportunity for new editors to learn to edit and for more experienced editors to connect with each other. On select dates we’ll have specialty workshops hosted in collaboration with librarians, art writers, and Wiki groups.

Join us to share knowledge, ask questions, and exchange support in our editing endeavors!
